Introducing: The Well-Traveled Fridge

They’re kitschy. They’re cheap. They’re light, small, and last forever.

So they’re the perfect travel memento: the refrigerator magnet.

I’ve been collecting them for years. I’m not a shopper, so they are the one thing that I’ll buy and bring home from my journeys.

Funny, no one else admires my collection. I seldom hear, “Oh, I just love your magnet collection. Tell me all about this one.” Nope – this isn’t my way of showing off, it’s just my little happy thing. And so it’s the perfect metaphor for this blog.

I’ll try to post useful information. I’ll try to take and share beautiful pictures. I’ll try to write insightful passages. But, mostly, I’ll try to make this my little happy thing.
